On March 29, the renowned news show 60 Minutes aired an in-depth feature on patients involved in a clinical trial at Duke University. The patients are being treated with a re-engineered polio virus designed to kill Glioblastoma multiforme cancer cells. We have lost a wonderful neurosurgeon, collaborator and friend. Andrew (Andy) Parsa, M.D., Ph.D., a world renowned neurosurgeon and Chairman of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine passed away suddenly on Monday, April 13, 2015.
